CHECK IT OUT:Amazon's official product page for the PS5
PS5 pre-orders NOW OPEN
As promised, PS5 pre-orders began on 17th September 2020, with retailers around the world scrambling to get their product pages online - and customers racing to place orders before stocks ran out.
For fans in the UK, the retailer Curry's is one place that seemed to have stock recently: you can click right here to go to the Curry's PS5 page, but it now seems that like many places, the retailer has sold out of its allotted consoles.
Things are not looking good at Amazon right now: at the time of this sentence being written, the Amazon product page for the PS5 Standard Edition in the UK says 'Currently Unavailable', which means the first wave of stock may have run out. You can click here to check the Amazon page, though - it might have updated since we wrote this.
The PS5 Digital Edition also seems to be out of stock at Amazon - you can click here to check out the product page for that one.
Argos has also sold out of its PS5 allocation but looks to be hoping for a restock in the near future. You can sign up for PS5 stock notifications from Argos using this link.
There is also a whole family of official PS5 products, from headsets to charging stations, which are available to order now - you can click here to check out the range.

How many PlayStation 5's can I pre-order?
A while back, thanks to some digging around by ResetEra user Expy, rumours made us believe that PS5 pre-orders will be limited to one pre-order per person.
However, looking at the Amazon product page today, there doesn't seem to be anything stopping you from ordering a second console if you wanted to... one for the living room and one for bed, perhaps? The problem is actually managing to find more than one console to order.
The entire PS5 Family, a range of spinoff products including a headset and a charging stand, are also available to pre-order right now: you can click here to check out all the prices.
