Daredevil: Born Again continues Matt Murdock’s story in the MCU, and many fans are anticipating his return. Curiously, it seems like the series’ 18 episodes will stay true to the original’s brutal action, with lead actor Charlie Cox training for the role.
Considering how great some of those fight scenes in the original Netflix series were, fans are optimistic about Born Again. Hopefully, the show will live up to expectations and has some of the best fights in the MCU and beyond.
Charlie Cox beats up people for Daredevil: Born Again
The Team KF Martial Arts Instagram posted a picture of Charlie Cox finishing his training for his supposed “next role.” It’s clear that this “next role” is Daredevil: Born Again, where he will continue protecting Hell’s Kitchen from Wilson Fisk.
Frank Castle is also expected to make an appearance in Born Again, with many hoping the two go trade fists. Obviously, both characters have wildly different ideologies, so the two are bound to fight if Daredevil Season 2 is anything to go by.
With Cox getting some MMA training done, it will be fun to see what techniques he breaks out when fighting. Hopefully, he breaks out a cross-arm breaker or a triangle choke, though we’d rather see him do professional wrestling moves.
Anticipating the return of Marvel’s premiere street hero
Seeing Charlie Cox get ready to knock some dudes out has fans even more excited for Daredevil: Born Again. Helping is how light-hearted his cameos have been, from casually catching a brick in Spider-Man: No Way Home to getting smashed by She-Hulk in her show.
Prior to Born Again, Daredevil is expected to have a major presence in the upcoming Echo series on Disney+. Hawkeye set up the showdown between Echo and Wilson Fisk, with Daredevil likely caught in the middle of their dispute.
Daredevil: Born Again is expected to hit Disney+ by the Fall of 2024.
