Fans are desperate. With Spider-Man No Way Home only four months away, many are craving to see even a smidgen of the upcoming movie. Every time there's news regarding Sony's Venom sequel, comments immediately turn to Spider-Man. Out of every MCU movie, this is the most anticipated, and Marvel boss Kevin Feige knows it.
During the press rounds for Shang-Chi, Marvel boss Kevin Feige opened up ever-so-slightly on the new Spider-Man. While not outright saying when we could see the movie trailer, it was suggested that it'll be very soon.
Kevin Feige on No Way Home trailer and secrecy
With the trailer still not seen despite the film's upcoming release, Kevin Feige attempted to limit fan frustration. Cheekily, the Marvel boss revealed that the film will get a trailer before it releases this December.
“It will be in theaters on December 17, and there will be a trailer before that, you can be assured.”
As for the assumed massive Marvel secrecy surrounding No Way Home, Feige outright refused the claims. Feige claims the studio is being no more or no less secret with Spider-Man 3 than any of its other movies. He just wants surprises to be maintained.
“Honestly, I've seen the fervour online. It has not necessarily occurred to me that it is any more or less secret than any of our other projects. I think all of our projects… we want to preserve surprises. That's all the secrecy is for.”
What even is this movie?
God, who knows?! Spider-Man: No Way Home rumours are messy, convoluted and point to an extremely packed movie. Following on from Loki, the upcoming Spider-Man threequel appears to be the MCU's first big multiverse project.
According to rumours, some confirmed, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are returning as multiversal Webheads. Furthermore, so are villains Green Goblin, Doc Ock and Electro. Whatever is going on, it sounds epic. However, could it also be too much too soon?
